Filling out the registration form (please fill it out carefully; an error in the e-mail address will prevent further communication). Please do not register twice.

Individuals who register will receive two emails:

1. An automatic confirmation of the correct completion of the registration form.

2. A confirmation of the allocation of a place along with a request to make the payment within the specified deadline (details are provided in the message).

WE DO NOT ACCEPT PAYMENTS MADE IN ADVANCE (BEFORE REGISTRATION) OR PAYMENTS FROM INDIVIDUALS WHO HAVE NOT RECEIVED CONFIRMATION OF A PLACE FOR THE EXAM.

Payment must be made within 24 hours of receiving the registration confirmation email. Payment instructions will be sent together with the confirmation.

About 1 month prior to the planned date of the exam you will receive an email with a concluding list of participants and invitation to the exam, containing detailed information

It will not be possible to issue an invoice on the day after the payment has been credited without prior notification.

Persons who did not attend the exam for reasons beyond the Organizer’s control are entitled to a refund of the exam fee, provided that this fact is reported in writing and the deadlines listed below are observed. If the request for a refund of the exam fee is submitted: more than 46 days before the planned exam date – the Organizer refunds 80% of the exam fee; less than 46 days before the planned exam date – the Organizer does not refund the paid exam fee.

The state certificate exam in Polish as a foreign language is an official exam that confirms Polish language proficiency at a selected level. After passing the exam, the candidate receives a state certificate in Polish as a foreign language.

The exam can be taken by foreigners and Polish citizens who live permanently abroad. It is available for adults and for young people in the appropriate age group.

Adults can take the exam at A2, B1, B2, C1 and C2 levels. For children and teenagers, B1 and B2 levels are available.

Candidates most often choose B1 or B2. The right level depends on the purpose: official procedures, work, studies or personal confirmation of Polish language skills.

Registration usually starts after the list of examination centres is published, around 2 months before the exam date. Registration is handled directly by the selected examination centres.

You register for the exam at the selected examination centre. After the list of centres is published, you should visit the website of the chosen centre and follow its registration rules.

The exam consists of a written part and an oral part. It tests listening comprehension, reading comprehension, grammatical accuracy, writing and speaking.

At B1 level, the written part takes no more than 190 minutes, and the oral part takes no more than 15 minutes.

At B2 level, the written part takes no more than 250 minutes, and the oral part takes no more than 15 minutes.

At C1 level, the written part takes no more than 250 minutes, and the oral part takes no more than 20 minutes.

To pass the B1 exam for adults, a candidate must receive at least 50% in each module of the written part and 50% in the oral part.

At B2 and C1 levels for adults, a candidate must receive at least 60% in each module of the written part and 60% in the oral part.

The certificate in Polish as a foreign language usually takes 3 to 6 months to be issued. The waiting time does not depend on the institution where you take the exam.

No. During the exam, candidates are not allowed to use dictionaries, supporting materials or electronic devices used for sending, receiving or recording information.

No. Candidates should not write with a pencil or use correction fluid during the exam. Answers must be written according to the instructions given by the examination committee.

The fee is set by the selected examination centre, but it cannot exceed the maximum rates defined for each level. The certificate issuing fee is charged separately.

Yes. The state certificate in Polish as a foreign language is valid indefinitely.

Yes. A candidate may submit a request to have the written part of the exam checked again within 21 days of receiving the result.
